3D Knot Simulator allows the user to create a 2D knot diagram that will be rendered in a 3D environment. The user creates the "2D knot" by specifying points, which are used to create line segments. When intersections of line segments occur, the user is prompted for "over" or "under" the previous line segment. As all the user selected points and intersection points are calculated they are stored and used later for the 3D version of the knot.
